A box promotes creativity, play and parent-child co-creation in art and design for a Little Play Space!

About

The Little Play Space Co-creation Box is a fundraising project designed and organised by the Playright Children’s Play Association with full support from CreativeKids, Tombow Hong Kong and Color My Community. The Co-creation box promotes the creative thinking and making through the exploration of possibilities with simple materials between parents and children for their favourite little play space via the little four steps - Experience, Explore, Express and Share!

Miss Sharon Lee is a local illustrator, graphic designer and creator of Dreamingfrees characters. Miss Lee was one of top-10 designers received award in the “Creation” + “Production”: Cross Industry Matching Showcase in two consecutive years, 2016 and 2017. Her works have been widely shown in various magazines and TV shows like Cultural Engine 4U. She is also keen to design the full set of collaterals for various NGOs in Hong Kong and was invited to be one of the adjudicators for the Drawing and Calligraphy Competition 2018 Summer.

Tracy Lee

Miss Tracy Lee is a STEM activity organizer and STEM pack design consultant for schools and education institutions in Hong Kong. She was invited to be the STEM Speaker for HKedCity in Asia WORLD DIDAC (World Class Education Resources) in 2016, the Adjudicator for PLAY Project – Coloring and Design Competition for Caritas Integrated Family Service Centre (Tsuen Wan) in 2017 and the supporting partners for school expo held by the Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations SSP District and local schools in the past years.

Since 2015, Miss Lee has been dedicated herself in combining the knowledge and skills of the electric engineering into arts creation. She said, “Electric engineering enlightens me a way to mix all other materials and media for arts creation, which adds more colours and excitement to the traditional art forms.”

Maoshan Connie

Miss Maoshan Connie graduated with a Master degree in Children’s Literature from the University of Cambridge. Currently, she is working as a full-time picturebook and community map artist.

Maoshan Connie is a keen participant in both local and international exhibitions. Her most recent solo exhibition was: “A special spring exhibition at Museum of Picture Book Art: This is where Maoshan Connie began her journey” at Hachi & Seizo Tashima Museum of Picture Book Art in Japan.
