The Playright Children's Play Association (Playright), established in 1987, is a Hong Kong-based charity organization encouraging children's play in society. With our professionalism, passion and empowerment, we aim for building a society that respects, protects and fulfills a Child's Right to Play, where children can enjoy their happy and fruitful childhood.
As we Value Children, Value Play, we are committed to getting the general public to understand and to recognize the importance of play for the holistic development of children so that they can enjoy play freely and safely.
At the same time, the Playright's Play Environment Service Team also aims for designing and developing play spaces that are safe, accessible, playable and inclusive for ALL children in Hong Kong. We believe that the social development, physical development, intelligence development, creativity development and emotional development are closely linked with Play Space Design. We also value the Voice of Children and love to have the Children Participation in Play Space Design too. The King's Park Children's Playground in Yau Ma Tei, for instance, let children go on a space adventure. The Tuen Mun Park Inclusive Playground is equipped with diversified playground facilities, allowing children of all ages and abilities to enjoy and experience play freely.
